Señorita Colombia 1934 (Election and Coronation) was held in Cartagena de Indias on 1934-01-03. María Yolanda Emiliani Román (Señorita Bolívar) won, becoming the first titleholder elected by the National Beauty Contest. Due to national and international conflicts, the pageant was not held again until 1947, so Emiliani held the title for 13 years.
