The third edition of the Concurso Nacional de Belleza de Colombia (Señorita Colombia) was held on 12 November 1949 in Cartagena, Colombia. Myriam Carolina Sojo Zambrano of Atlántico won the title of Miss Colombia 1949 and was crowned by her predecessor, María de la Piedad Gómez Román. After the 1947 edition, the pageant adopted a biennial schedule in Cartagena.
