The fifth edition of the Concurso Nacional de Belleza de Colombia (Señorita Colombia) was held on 1953-11-12 at the Colonial Hall of the Hotel Caribe in Cartagena, Colombia. Eight contestants participated. Luz Marina Cruz Losada (Miss Valle) won the Miss Colombia 1953 title and was crowned by General Gustavo Rojas Pinilla.
