The sixth edition of the Concurso Nacional de Belleza de Colombia (Señorita Colombia) was held on 12 November 1955 in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia. Ligia Esperanza Gallón Domínguez, Miss Santander, was crowned Miss Colombia 1955–1957 by General Gabriel París. Fourteen candidates competed. Tolima withdrew, while Antioquia, Bogotá, Chocó, Magdalena, Norte de Santander, and Santander returned. Entertainment featured Agustín Lara and Berta Singerman.
