The election and coronation night of Miss Colombia 1970–1971 was held at Teatro Cartagena in Cartagena de Indias on 11 November 1970, marking the 18th edition of the pageant. Piedad Mejía Trujillo (Miss Caldas) won and was crowned by the outgoing titleholder, María Luisa Riascos Velásquez. The event was broadcast by Canal Nacional.
