The 35th edition of the Concurso Nacional de Belleza (Señorita Colombia) was held on 15 November 1987 at the Convention Center of Cartagena de Indias. Eighteen candidates competed. María Patricia López, Miss Colombia 1986–1987, crowned Diana Patricia Arévalo of Santander as Miss Colombia 1987–1988. The gala was hosted by Pilar Castaño and broadcast live by Cadena Dos, with performances by Ballet de Colombia de Sonia Osorio, Fausto, Emmanuel, and Rocío Jurado.
