The election and coronation evening of Miss Colombia 1998-1999 was held in Cartagena de Indias on 15 November 1998 at the Julio César Turbay Convention Center, marking the 46th edition. Marianella Maal Pacini (Miss Atlántico) won and was crowned by her predecessor, Silvia Fernanda Ortiz. Starting with this edition, the pageant was broadcast exclusively by Canal RCN following the launch of private television channels in Colombia in July 1998.
