Mexicana Universal 2018 was the first edition of the Mexicana Universal pageant, reformatted into a nine-episode reality show broadcast Sundays on Azteca Uno. The season ran from April 8, 2018, to the final on June 3, 2018, held at Azteca Estudios in Mexico City and hosted by Brandon Peniche and Kristal Silva. Thirty-two state representatives competed; Andrea Toscano of Colima won and later represented Mexico at Miss Universe 2018 in Thailand. Post-event appointments included Aranza Molina (Tabasco) as Mexicana Hispanoamericana 2018, 1st runner-up at Reina Hispanoamericana, and Nebai Torres (Jalisco) as Mexicana Internacional 2018, Top 15 at Miss International.
