The 7th edition of Miss América Latina del Mundo was held on 17 October 1987 in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. Twenty contestants from countries and autonomous territories competed over two weeks. At the end of the event, the outgoing Miss América Latina del Mundo 1986, Lucía Josefina Collado of República Dominicana, crowned Lorenia Burruel Márquez of México as Miss América Latina del Mundo 1987.
