The 12th edition of Miss América Latina del Mundo took place on September 14, 1993, in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Nineteen contestants from countries and autonomous territories participated in activities over two weeks leading up to the final. At the conclusion, Sofía Pereira of Nicaragua, Miss América Latina del Mundo 1992, crowned her successor Fernanda Morales of Guatemala as Miss América Latina del Mundo 1993.
