The 16th edition of Miss América Latina del Mundo was held on November 25, 1999 in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Nineteen contestants from Latin American countries and territories competed over two weeks. At the end of the event, Aline Menezes of Brazil (Miss América Latina del Mundo 1998) crowned Dania Prince of Honduras as Miss América Latina del Mundo 1999.
