The 23rd edition of Miss América Latina del Mundo took place on 2007-06-15 in Riviera Maya, Mexico, with 20 countries and autonomous territories participating over two weeks. At the end of the event, outgoing titleholder Melissa Quesada (United States), Miss América Latina del Mundo 2006, crowned Giannina Silva (Uruguay) as Miss América Latina del Mundo 2007. Four months later, Silva was stripped of the title and Heidi García (Guatemala) assumed the crown.
