The 26th Miss América Latina del Mundo was held on 2012-06-09 at the Barceló Maya Beach Resort in the Riviera Maya, Mexico. Twenty-three contestants from countries and autonomous territories competed over two weeks. At the conclusion, Miss América Latina del Mundo 2011, Estefani Chalco Salgado of Ecuador, crowned Georgina Méndez of Guatemala as Miss América Latina del Mundo 2012. The event was streamed via the pageant’s website, Facebook and YouTube to more than 150 countries.
