The 28th edition of Miss América Latina del Mundo was held on 6 September 2014 at the Barceló Maya Beach Resort in Punta Cana, República Dominicana, with 23 contestants. Miss América Latina del Mundo 2013 Julia Guerra of Brasil crowned Nicole Pinto of Panamá as the 2014 winner. On 14 November 2014, Pinto resigned to represent Panamá at Miss Mundo 2014, and Yanire Ortiz of España assumed the title. The event was broadcast via the pageant’s website, Facebook, and YouTube.
