Miss Brazil 1962, the 9th edition of Miss Brasil, was held on 19 June 1962 at the Maracanãzinho Gymnasium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Vera Maria Brauner Menezes (Miss Brasil 1961) crowned Maria Olívia Rebouças Cavalcanti of Bahia as the winner. The winner represented Brazil at Miss Universe 1962; the second place finisher went to Miss International 1962, and the third place finisher to Miss World 1962. The pageant was broadcast by TV Tupi.
