The 23rd Miss Brazil pageant was held on 19 June 1976 at the Ginásio Presidente Médici in Brasília. Miss Brazil 1975, Ingrid Budag of Santa Catarina, crowned Kátia Moretto of São Paulo as the winner. The winner represented Brazil at Miss Universe 1976, the runner-up at Miss International 1976, and the third-place finisher at Miss World 1976. The event was broadcast by Rede Tupi.
