Miss Brasil 1988, the 35th edition, was held on 1988-04-09 at the Teatro Silvio Santos in São Paulo. Murillo Néri served as master of ceremonies, substituting Silvio Santos due to vocal cord problems. Jacqueline Meirelles (Miss Brasil 1987) crowned Isabel Cristina Beduschi of Santa Catarina as the winner, who went on to represent Brazil at Miss Universe 1988. The event aired on SBT and was re-aired the following day on Programa Silvio Santos.
