Miss Brasil 1993 was the 39th edition of the national pageant to select Brazil’s representative to Miss Universe 1993. Organized by businesswoman Marlene Brito and coordinated by The Most of Brazilian Beauty, it featured 20 pre-selected candidates supervised by Venezuelan missologist Osmel Sousa. Only one candidate, Leila Schuster of Rio Grande do Sul, advanced to the final and was crowned. The ceremony was held on 12 January 1993 at Restaurante Leopolldo in the Jardins neighborhood of São Paulo. Coverage included Veja and Manchete; the TV program Flash (Band) recorded the crowning.
