Miss Brasil 1999, the 45th edition of the pageant, was held on 8 April 1999 at the Scala Rio venue in Rio de Janeiro. The event was not televised and was hosted by Deise Nunes (Miss Brasil 1986). Renata Fan of Rio Grande do Sul won the title and was crowned by Michela Marchi, Miss Brasil 1998. Twenty-seven contestants competed, and the edition served as the national qualifier for Miss Universe 1999.
