Broadcast by Band and hosted by Nayla Micherif and Nivaldo Prieto, the pageant concluded with Carina Beduschi crowning Rafaela Zanella of Rio Grande do Sul as Miss Brasil 2006. The singer Simone performed, and Miss Universe 2005 Natalie Glebova attended.
