Miss Brasil 2013, the 59th edition of the national pageant, was held on 28 September 2013 at Minascentro in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. Twenty-seven contestants representing all Brazilian federative units competed. The event was hosted by Renata Fan and Sérgio Marone and broadcast nationwide by Rede Bandeirantes. Miss Brasil 2012, Gabriela Markus, crowned Jakelyne Oliveira of Mato Grosso as the winner. Oliveira later represented Brazil at Miss Universe 2013 in Moscow, placing fifth.
