Miss Brazil 2016 was the 62nd Miss Brasil pageant, held on 2016-10-01 at Citibank Hall in São Paulo. Twenty-seven contestants from all Brazilian states and the Federal District competed. Raissa Santana of Paraná won the title, crowned by outgoing Miss Brasil 2015 Marthina Brandt, and later placed in the Top 13 at Miss Universe 2016 in Manila. The show was hosted by Cássio Reis and Danielle Suzuki. This edition featured a record six Black contestants and crowned only the second Black winner in the pageant’s history.
