Miss Earth 2002, the second edition of Miss Earth, was held on 2002-10-20 at Tanghalang Francisco Balagtas in Malate, Manila, Philippines, with 53 delegates. Džejla Glavović of Bosnia and Herzegovina was initially crowned (also winning Miss Talent) but was dethroned on 2003-05-28 for failing to comply with contract stipulations. Winfred Omwakwe of Kenya, the Miss Air winner, assumed the Miss Earth 2002 title and was formally crowned on 2003-08-07 in Mandaluyong, Philippines.
