Miss Earth 2006 was the sixth Miss Earth pageant, held on 26 November 2006 at the National Museum of the Philippines in Manila. Alexandra Braun of Venezuela crowned Hil Hernández of Chile as Miss Earth 2006, marking Chile’s first win. Eighty-two contestants competed. The event was hosted by Ariel Ureta, Priscilla Meirelles, and Ginger Conejero, with a performance by Christian Bautista. It was originally announced for Santiago, Chile on 15 November but was moved to the Philippines after local organizers failed to meet requirements.
