Miss Earth 2009, the 9th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, culminated on November 22, 2009 at the Boracay Ecovillage Resort and Convention Center in Boracay, Aklan, Philippines. Karla Henry of the Philippines crowned Larissa Ramos of Brazil as Miss Earth 2009. Eighty delegates competed, with a Top 16 advancing and then competing in swimsuit and evening gown to determine a Top 8, a format last used in 2003. The pageant carried the theme "Green Lifestyle," involving delegates in environmental activities. Preliminary events included a press presentation and national costume competition on November 4. The show was hosted by Marc Nelson, Sarah Meier, and Borgy Manotoc.
