Nicole Faria of India crowned Olga Álava of Ecuador as Miss Earth 2011. The show aired live on Channel V, with broadcasts on Star World, ABS-CBN, Studio 23, and a delayed telecast on The Filipino Channel. The event was originally slated for Bangkok, Thailand, but was moved to the Philippines due to the 2011 Thailand floods.
