The 6th edition of Miss Ecuador was held on 1959-07-03 at Teatro Olmedo in Guayaquil, organized by the newspaper El Telégrafo. Carlota Elena Ayala Arellano of Guayaquil won Miss Ecuador 1959 and was crowned by her predecessor Alicia Vallejo Eljuri.
