The 70th edition of Miss Ecuador was held on 17 October 2020 at the Wyndham Manta Sail Plaza Hotel and Convention Center in Manta, Manabí, Ecuador, with 20 contestants competing. At the end of the event, Miss Ecuador 2019 Cristina María Hidalgo Berry crowned Leyla Shuken Espinoza Calvache of Los Ríos as Miss Ecuador 2020. The show was broadcast live by Gamavisión.
