Miss France 1989, the 59th edition of Miss France, was held on 29 December 1988 at the Studios de France (bât.101) in La Plaine Saint-Denis, France. Broadcast by FR3 and presented by Geneviève de Fontenay and Sacha Distel, the pageant crowned Peggy Zlotkowski (Miss Aquitaine 1988) as Miss France 1989. The event was also billed as “With Sacha Distel, elect Miss France 1989.”
