Miss France 2006, the 76th Miss France pageant, was held on 2005-12-03 at the Palais des festivals et des congrès in Cannes, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France. Broadcast live on TF1 and hosted by Jean-Pierre Foucault with Geneviève de Fontenay, the event featured 45 contestants. Alexandra Rosenfeld (Miss Languedoc) won the title, succeeding Cindy Fabre. It was the first time the pageant took place in Cannes and the fifth time in the PACA region. Performances included Emmanuel Moire, Dany Brillant, Jenifer and Johnny Hallyday.
