Miss Grand International 2017, the fifth edition of the pageant, was held on 25 October 2017 at the Vinpearl Convention Center in Phú Quốc, Vietnam. Pageant activities took place across Vietnam from 5–25 October, with sub-contests in Quảng Bình and Phú Quốc. Seventy-seven contestants competed. Ariska Putri Pertiwi of Indonesia crowned María José Lora of Peru as Miss Grand International 2017. The runners-up were Tulia Alemán (Venezuela), Elizabeth Clenci (Philippines), Brenda Jiménez (Puerto Rico), and Nikola Uhlířová (Czech Republic). The event was hosted by Xian Lim and Nicole Cordoves and was broadcast via multiple regional partners and Facebook live.
