The 3rd edition of Miss Intercontinental was held at the Aruba Sheraton Hotel in Oranjestad, Aruba, on September 8, 1973. Fifteen delegates competed for the title. Barbara Sergi of the USA won and was crowned Miss Intercontinental 1973 by outgoing titleholder Jane Macambira of Brazil.
