Miss Intercontinental 1982, the 12th edition of the pageant, was held on December 11, 1982 at the Hotel Caribbean in Cartagena, Colombia. Forty-two delegates competed for the title. Jodee Dominici of USA was crowned Miss Intercontinental 1982 by the outgoing titleholder, Cristiane Passos of Brazil.
