Miss Intercontinental 1998, the 27th edition, was held on April 23, 1998 in Bad Lausick, Germany. Twenty-four delegates competed, and Janaína Berenhauser of Brazil was crowned Miss Intercontinental 1998 by outgoing titleholder Lara Dutta of India.
