Miss Peru 1975 marked the reinstatement of the national pageant. The winner was selected by votes from readers of Gente magazine, the official sponsor. Twenty-three candidates competed for three national crowns; Lourdes Berninzon of Lima Region won and represented Peru at Miss Universe 1975, Miss World 1975, and Miss Ambar 1975. Other finalists entered different international pageants.
