Miss Perú 1989 was held on April 16, 1989 at the Coliseo Amauta with 16 contestants. Mariana Sovero McKay of Distrito Capital won and represented Peru at Miss Universe 1989 and Miss World 1989. Other finalists participated in various international pageants.
