Miss Perú 1993 was held on 1993-04-01. Following organizational restructuring, Déborah D'Souza Peixoto was appointed by Miss Peru Organization president Benjamin Kreimer to represent Peru at Miss Universe 1993. She traveled to Mexico City on May 1 and competed on May 21, placing 11th with an 8.937 average preliminary score. Mónika Saez Grimm (Miss Peru Asia-Pacific 1992) was appointed to Miss World 1993 but was unable to secure sponsorship to travel to South Africa.
