Miss Grand International 2021, the 9th edition, was held on 2021-12-04 at Show DC Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. Hosted by Matthew Deane and broadcast on GrandTV and YouTube, the event featured 59 delegates. Abena Appiah of the USA crowned Nguyễn Thúc Thùy Tiên of Vietnam as the winner, with Andrea Aguilera (Ecuador) as 1st runner-up, Lorena Rodrigues (Brazil) 2nd runner-up, Vivianie Diaz (Puerto Rico) 3rd runner-up, and Jeanè Van Dam (South Africa) 4th runner-up.
