Miss Planet International 2022 was the 2nd edition of the pageant, held on 2023-01-29 at the Koh Pich Theater in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Hosted by Malaya Moreno and Zorida Duong and streamed live on Facebook and YouTube, the event featured 14 contestants. Maria Luisa Varela of the Philippines was crowned Miss Planet International 2022. The edition was originally planned for November 2022 in Uganda but was postponed amid withdrawals and safety concerns related to the Ebola outbreak, then relocated to Cambodia for the January 2023 final.
