Miss Dominican Republic 1973 was held on 29 January 1973 at the Auditorio del Bueno Café del Hotel Lina in Santo Domingo, República Dominicana, with 28 delegates competing. The winner, Liliana Maritza Fernández González (Salcedo), was set to represent the country at Miss Universo 1973. The runner-up, Clariza Ana Duarte Garrido (Puerto Plata), went to Miss Mundo 1973, and other semifinalists participated in various international pageants.
