Miss Universe Philippines 2020 was the inaugural edition under the new Miss Universe Philippines Organization. Initially scheduled for May 3, the coronation was postponed twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic and held on October 25, 2020 at the Cordillera Convention Hall, Baguio Country Club in Baguio, without a live audience, with many segments pre-taped. KC Montero hosted, with performances by Jessica Sanchez, Allen Cecilio, Anjo Damiles, and Kevin Montillano. Gazini Ganados crowned Rabiya Mateo of Iloilo City as the winner; she later placed in the Top 21 at Miss Universe 2020. The event aired on GMA Network.
