Miss Universe 1985 was the 34th Miss Universe pageant, held at the James L. Knight Convention Center in Miami, Florida, United States, on 15 July 1985. Seventy-nine contestants competed. Deborah Carthy-Deu of Puerto Rico won the title, crowned by outgoing Miss Universe Yvonne Ryding of Sweden.
