Miss Universe 1987, the 36th edition, was held at the World Trade Centre in Singapore on 27 May 1987. Bárbara Palacios crowned Cecilia Bolocco of Chile as Miss Universe, with 68 contestants competing. Presenters were Bob Barker and Mary Frann; entertainment included Cultural Dance Group of Singapore and Little Sisters of Singapore.
