Miss Universe 2007, the 56th Miss Universe pageant, was held on 28 May 2007 at the National Auditorium (Auditorio Nacional) in Mexico City, Mexico. Riyo Mori of Japan was crowned Miss Universe 2007 by outgoing titleholder Zuleyka Rivera of Puerto Rico. The event featured 77 contestants and 15 placements, was hosted by Mario Lopez and Vanessa Minnillo, and included a performance by Latin pop group RBD.
