Miss Universe 2013, the 62nd edition of the pageant, was held on 9 November 2013 at Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk (Moscow), Russia. Olivia Culpo crowned Gabriela Isler of Venezuela as Miss Universe, marking Venezuela’s seventh title. The show was hosted by Thomas Roberts and Mel B, with Jeannie Mai as backstage correspondent, and featured performances by Emin, Panic! at the Disco, and Steven Tyler. Eighty-six contestants competed, with 16 placements. The telecast aired internationally on NBC and Telemundo and officially in Russia on Channel One Russia.
