Miss Universe 2021, the 70th edition of the pageant, was held on 13 December 2021 at the Universe Dome, Port of Eilat, in Eilat, Israel, with 80 contestants. Steve Harvey hosted, with Carson Kressley and Cheslie Kryst as backstage correspondents. Performances were by JoJo, Noa Kirel, Harel Skaat, Narkis, and Valerie Hamaty. Harnaaz Sandhu of India was crowned by Andrea Meza, giving India its first Miss Universe title in 21 years and third overall; Sandhu became the first Sikh woman to win. The show was broadcast internationally, including on Fox and Telemundo, and was the last edition to air on a U.S. broadcast television network.
