Miss Universe 2024 was the 73rd Miss Universe pageant, held at Arena CDMX (Mexico City Arena) in Mexico City, Mexico. The final took place on 16 November 2024, following preliminary rounds on 14 November. Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua crowned Victoria Kjær Theilvig of Denmark, marking Denmark’s first Miss Universe title. A record 125 delegates competed, surpassing the previous record from 2018. The format expanded to 30 semifinalists with continental queens and a fan vote influencing advancement. The edition also unveiled the Filipino-crafted “Lumière de l’Infini” crown by Jewelmer.
