Miss USA 1967 was the 16th Miss USA pageant, held on May 20, 1967, at the Miami Beach Auditorium in Miami Beach, Florida. Sylvia Hitchcock of Alabama won and was crowned by Miss USA 1966, Maria Remenyi of California. Hitchcock later won Miss Universe 1967; 2nd runner-up Cheryl Patton of Florida subsequently succeeded to the Miss USA title after the 1st runner-up declined. This was Bob Barker’s first Miss USA as host and his first time on the CBS network.
