Miss USA 1970 was the 19th Miss USA pageant, televised live by CBS from Miami Beach, Florida on May 16, 1970. Deborah Shelton of Virginia won the title, crowned by outgoing Miss USA Wendy Dascomb, also of Virginia—the first time a state won back-to-back Miss USA titles. Shelton later placed as 1st runner-up at Miss Universe 1970.
