Miss USA 1976 was the 25th Miss USA pageant, broadcast live by CBS from Niagara Falls, New York, on May 15, 1976. Barbara Peterson of Minnesota won, succeeding Summer Bartholomew of California. Peterson later competed at Miss Universe 1976, becoming the first Miss USA not to reach the semifinals.
